FocusLynx DirectSync TEC The FocusLynx DirectSync TEC system is an aftermarket add-on for the TEC Large Focuser and includes the FocusLynx focus controller and new DirectSync digital motor with built-in temperature sensor. The new DirectSync motor provides a direct drive motor that can be easily disengaged for manual focusing. The DirectSync motor kit is easy to install and provides a digital focusing solution that also allows manual focus when at the telescope.

This version requires the external Optec FocusLynx controller.

Important Note: TEC has discontinued the native TEC Large Focuser and is currently shipping new TEC OTAs with the FeatherTouch FTF3545 focuser. However, Optec will continue to offer this customized motor solution for this focuser. See the FocusLynx FT40 kit for motorizing the FTF3545 focuser for large TEC telescopes.

About This Product

The Focus Lynx Hand Control provides an easy, vibration-free method of focusing the telescope when using the FocusLynx Control Hub. Featuring IN and OUT buttons, a 2-line display, and Quick Sync synchronization capability. The FocusLynx Hand Control is a "must-have" option for any system where the operator may be at the telescope.

It includes an electronic Fine Focus Knob for greater control and tactile feedback while using eyepieces at the telescope. An embedded rotary encoder switch allows one-hand fine focus control while using an eyepiece. No need to move your eye away from the eyepiece - with this improvement the FocusLynx hand control provides simple, intuitive and precise control of the focus motor. The FocusLynx Hand Control plugs into the Hand Controller port on the bottom of the FocusLynx Control Hub using the included telephone handset cord.
