The Seletek Tarsier is an advanced autonomous motorized focusing system from Lunático Astronomía. The Seletek Tarsier autonomous focuser with temperature compensated focusing comes ready to use with the following components
  • The Seletek Tarsier controller (standard power jack, positive inside)
  • Stepper motor (3600 steps/turn)
  • Cylinder shaft coupling to the axis of the focuser
  • Coupling plate for your focuser
  • Stepper motor connection cable with external temperature sensor

The external temperature sensor increases the accuracy of the temperature measurement made by the Seletek controller * (Original, Armadillo, Platypus, Limpet or Tarsier), as the sensing head can be placed directly on the OTA.

This sensor has to be installed in the MAIN PORT of the device.

Available in two options:

attached to DB9 motor cable
attached to double DB9 connector

Tarsier gives you the most advanced autonomous motorized focusing system with temperature compensated focusing. Without a PC, you have total control of the motor motion, and you can save up to 16 focus point and "GOTO" any of them. It is a great match for astronomers with a portable setup and DSLR imaging.
